Description

Condition: the case has been refinished; the carved top may have been added 100 years ago to help the clock match other furniture in the shop or house, as it is not of the same construction as the basic case. The movement seems clean and ticks fine. The porcelain dial is perfect. All 3 hands are original, except the hour hand has had a new tip soldered on long ago; the repair is visible from the reverse. Has an interesting grid pendulum, on which the bob and rating assembly is removable from the bottom of the grid , and the grid is removable from the pendulum leader. The brass sheathed weight needs a better hook and a brass top trim also. Height 84 inches
