Description
Condition: really remarkable that this has survived in such nice condition, and a testimony to the beautiful clock coming out of France at the time of our Civil War. The presentation plaque reads to T. C. Mills on his retirement from the London Railway in July 1861. Although the movement has not been serviced in some time, it is complete and sound, with Japy Freres gold award medallion. Height of clock only 15 inches to eagle, height of dome, base and clock 25.5 inches, width of dome 24.5 inches
