Description

Condition: this is a one-family clock sent here air express from Florida. The porcelain dial has hairlines at 4+6 and a small one in the center, otherwise this is an immaculate original clock with great 24K decorations. This portrait model listed for $60 when new, while the regular floral LaCerda listed for $30 (still a Lot of money at the time), and for additional comparison, a LaCruz was only $9.25. For more details on this and other porcelain models, see Tran Duy Ly's book on Ansonia clocks, (1998), page 632. Color is dark burgundy. See also lot 496. Height 15 inches
