Description
Condition: Original dial is xlnt, original tablet, and hands; basically all components are present, including the alcohol burner. There are labels on the back and inside the clock. Seldom found and almost never in WORKING order as this one. For literature see, A TREASURY OF AMERICAN CLOCKS, Pg 252, Fig 436. Mr. H. J. Davies applied for a patent on this mechanism in 1868; no confirmation it was granted. Height overall is 16.5 inches (case alone is 14.5 inches)
