Description
Condition: Rosewood veneered case in fair condition, but with veneer missing on the cornice, base and some of the flat areas and now finished in a dark, muddy finish. Gilt border surrounding dial and mirror now brushed with gold paint. Columns have been stripped of their graining and gilt capitals and bases now overpainted with gold paint. Movement is signed. Height 16 inches
