Description

Condition: all of the inlay is missing from the mahogany veneered front. The movement strikes and ticks weakly...will need cleaning, however is complete and sound, and a very good example of Black Forest work at the time. Although the plates are wooden, this seems to be an 8 day with cut steel pinions and brass bushings. If this were an English clock with brass movement, it would fetch around $700 in this condition. There is a small London sticker on the rear. Height 21 inches
