Description

Condition: about as good as you find for these small novelty clocks. The case has no breaks nor repairs and much of the original gilding is intact. Porcelain dial is perfect and with an nice embossed and gilt brass center. Has been cleaned and is in running order. Now lest you think we have picked the wrong model, this case is finished front and rear, and the repairman has put the dial in the reverse side, as the gilding was a little better. See Ly's New Haven book, page 432, figure 1785. Note the brilliant sash cost an extra $2.10 in 1900. Height 7.5 inches
