Description
Condition: Rosewood and mahogany veneered case is in very nice as found condition. There is some veneer loss on the base and bottom edge of the door. Two of the finials are missing and the other two need tips restored. Both glasses are original. Original dial has fading numbers, paint loss and crazing. Hands are original. This clock had been exported to England and has an overpasted label that has become detached and reads: "Clock Warehouses, 21 Overgate and 106 Murraygate, Dundee, Francis Joseph Wild, Clock and Watchmaker". Ribbed plate movement is signed "Brewster and Ingrahams". Spring to the strike side is missing (gears intact). Height 19.75 inches
