Description
Condition: Rosewood veneered case is generally good condition with some veneer damage on the back edges of the curved top and bottom. Round screw type molding on the middle of the bottom bracket probably had some type bottom or finial that is now missing. There are some small inlay pieces missing on the upper area of the door. Dial pan appears to be original, while the actual dial is a replacement. Hands are original. Top to this clock is missing. Movement was made by the Caledonian Clock Co. after an American design; note the time spring broke, forcing the No. 2 pivot up and out of its hole. See foto of movement; the pivot is not broken, and cleaning and a spring should solve the problem. Height 30 inches
