Description

Condition: this clock was made to appear as a late 18th century clock. The one piece porcelain dial is painted to appear as an 18th century with 13 pieces. The well made round movement, strikes the hours and halves on a bell. The case is surmounted by an ormolu likeness of a turbaned man, seated, with small basket to his right and holding a snake in his hands. Most of the ormolu has gone dull, after regular cleaning by the maid left the bronze with out protection. Height 16.5 inches
