Description
Condition: this clock had suffered losses and someone with limited skills has replaced the double count wheels on the rear plate. He also made a new top trim/bell cover from a piece of solid mahogany and painted it to match the rest of the case. Finally, the original curved dial has numerous repairs to chipped porcelain. The movement is original to the case, and the wheelwork between the plates appears intact; has typical "hammer-shift" mechanism that uses one hammer to strike both the hour and quarter. A nice project for a good mechanic who appreciates early Swiss items. Height 24 inches
