Description
Condition: the mahogany case has some small dents in the crest over the dial from old shipping damage; gone over with stain and is not too noticeable (someone good with shellac sticks could blend it in fine). One of the cables broke and has been tied together for the foto. The original weights got lost and this old set is from another clock and chime weight is too small to power the quarter chime. We used commercial "S" hooks to hang these weights for the foto. Retains original tubes, dial pendulum and case hardware, and if you can solve the weight situation, you will end up with a good 3-train clock. Levers for chime silent and strike silent are on the dial outside of 3 and 9. Although very similar to a Herschede model, neither movement nor dial are signed. Height 80 inches
