Description
Condition: Excellent original condition; our of a local house and there has been no attempt to restore this clock. The only minus is a missing grommet on the right winding hole, and the owner turned the key against the dial a lot on that side. Retains very good label on the rear and all the knobbies, turnings and finials are intact. This has the pre-1884 movement on which the pendulum leader hangs from a clevis, rather than suspension spring. For detailed reference, see Tran Duy Ly's book on Welch Clocks, pages 147-156. Height 18 inches
