Description
Condition: the seat board and movement appear to be a good 50 years older than the case, which itself was finished by a good craftsman. There are some nicks and scrapes here and there. The pendulum has been adapted from a still earlier tall case, the bob cut off so it will not hit the sides (a cylindrical bob is often used in narrow circumstances like this). The case and dial are certainly American; movement appears English. Seems to tick and strike. Height 58 inches
