Description

Condition: nice as-found condition. This clock has been setting in the back of a workroom for 3 decades and really needs very little to be enjoyed. Nice bell top case with brass side frets and bracket feet; doors front and rear. Rear door with small chip in the veneer and some dry cracks and roughness along the leading edge. The well made arch dial with cast scroll spandrels, dial in the arch for Strike-Silent, and with calendar aperture above the 6. See Brittens, Old Clock and Watches and their Makers, many Wagstaff clocks traceable as parting gifts to Quaker visitors. Based on current exchange, this clock should look a bargain to UK customers. Height 20 inches
