Description
Condition: this is a well made clock by a good cabinet maker, who had access to a movement from an E. Howard No. 70 (movement so marked). The dial appears to be somewhat later than the clock, there being an extra set of holes in the head. Has a nice set of barb hands, a good tablet and excellent gilding (with some losses and gesso showing, commensurate with the clock's age). Interestingly, the case is pine with rosewood veneer on the sides, where as most later repros have utilized solid mahogany. Height 39 inches
