Description
Condition: this clock suffered some shipping damage, and several of the little nuts that hold the trim around the movement have been replaced. The sticky backed dial scales have scoring in a couple of places. Has a Swiss platform lever escapement, and is wound from the center of the base. Note the movement of the 6 planets around the sun is very slow, making only one revolution in a year's time. This clock is running briskly, however occasionally goes into a bind; jiggling it sets it going again. They were $2,700 when new. Height 17 inches
