Description

Condition: pendulum is from Sessions; the sides of the clock retain old varnish, severely alligatored, and it is easy to see why the front was stripped to show the embossing. The Ansonia book shows the drop plain and the door embossed, this one is the opposite with no evidence of being changed, so must simply be a variant, the dial has been improperly repainted; these were originally paper inserts; center brass ring is painted white, but can be stripped. So there you have it, an interesting clock that needs paper dial and some TLC. Height 32 inches
