Description
Condition: this clock has had a hard life, but still with potential. Much of the rosewood case has been re-veneered, and that has gotten moist and is coming loose. The caps of the shell columns have been painted gold. The fruit tablet is original, now with a hole scraped in to view the pendulum. The Thomaston label is full and legible, a little weak. Dial has been repainted poorly. The good early brass movement is clean and is signed Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn. Ticks and strikes. Height 25 inches
