Description

This is a modern day reproduction of the early English bracket clocks. There is a stamp on the back door that reads, "Williamsburg Restoration". Brass handle, feet, dial ring, sash and catch, and of course everything inside the case, movement, gong, and hinges. The sash has a bowed glass over the painted metal dial that is signed, "Chelsea", and "Tiffany and Co. New York". Mahogany case has string inlay on the front, the top and base is beveled and grooved. 8 day balance wheel movement, rack and snail count, strikes a large gong. Ly-American Clocks, Volume 2, No. 326.
