Description
Excellent label inside, on the backboard, reads, "Manufactured By A. Caswell and Co., Harlem, NY", and "Depot, 25 Maiden Lane, New York." Unsigned 8 day time and bell strike movement, but identifiable as being made by the Forrestville Clock Co. 16 inches high case needs help. Two or three screws have broken out of wood back, but it is repairable. The painted dial is original, unsigned, with some flaking. We know very little about Caswell but you can glean some information from the NAWCC Bulletin of October 1999, page 644.
