Description
Original ebonized case with gold trim, great gold transfer glass n very unique; amazing, detailed pendulum and bob; enameled dial, signed 8 day movement. The pendulum is signed on the back, "Patented by F. Kroeber, March 29, 1881". The pendulum is bright and shining, has thick beveled glass, and adjusts for slow fast. This is a time, strike, and alarm movement. It strikes hourly and alarms on a bright nickel bell. The old key is signed, "F.Kroeber, New York". This clock is 100% and as near perfect as we ever get. It has been in the doctor's collection for many years before he moved and downsized his collection. There are many other fine clocks from his collection, in this catalog.
