Description
The case is glass with classical motif, gilt repousse trim, cast gilt brass eagle finial. Overall height is 8.5 inches, with a 1.5 inches floral decorated porcelain dial. The thick glass has a nice chip off the lower right corner, about where the horse's hooves are. All the bronze except the cast bezel and eagle is pressed and applied against the glass. High quality, very small French movement is covered with a bowed glass in a bronze sash. Movement needs to be serviced, balance is not working. Fabulous little clock if not for little problems.
