Description
This clock was being restored when it came to us with a very nice collection of early clocks. It appears that parts ordered from Holland had arrived and are included with the clock (see side photo). They are; chain and weights for the alarm and lead frets for the top sides of the movement. They need to be painted the same dark gold color as the front frets. The glass in one side door is broken. Pull up weight driven movement, time, strike, and alarm, posted frame movement with crown wheel verge escapement. Movement needs cleaning, appears to be complete. We hung the weight and the movement stayed intact. Excellent folk art painted decorations with minor paint losses appears to be all-original. Excluding the weight, it is 26 inches high.
