Description

30 hour time and strike, weight clock. The beautiful glass makes this clock. The old dial, hands, weights, and pendulum, are original and in great condition, while the columns have been painted gold and the rosewood case varnished, to make it shine. Remember when we whitewashed and varnished everything that did not move. There is a good full label on the backboard and they even varnished it. The movement, mounted to a seatboard, is running and striking hourly on a coil gong. Bubba worked on the movement leaving some ugly solder around the bushings. I do want to emphasize that this is a great looking, early clock. Ly-Seth Thomas No. 992.
