Description
This is a clock for those on a budget, or people who can't stand to hear a clock chiming, or a gift for your mother in law. First all the good points. It runs; it has a pretty brass colored dial and a nice beat scale; the pendulum looks nice and there is a little round glass on one side for inquiring minds to examine the movement. The not so good. Some highly trained repairperson removed all the strike train gears from the 8 day brass movement and plugged the wind hole in the dial. Lastly, the 14 inches wood case is not the least bit attractive.
