Description
A really nice walnut case standing about 30.5 inches, but without a bottom finial and some kind of a top. This case was a woodworkers dream with all the turnings, fluting, routing, and whatever else woodmen do to wood out in the shop. I see a side molding missing on each side of the base. The 8 day movement is square, solid plate, looks French, but signed, "A. Willmann and Co. Freiburg/Schles". Adjustable pallet dead beat verge, strike side missing No. 5 wheel. Running but doesn't strike of course. Very good 2 piece porcelain dial, old hands, very nice porcelain beat scale and RA bob.
