Description
One weight, eight day, unsigned movement is running. The medium sized case is 43.5 inches long, retains the original carved top piece and finial. It has a very nice two piece porcelain dial with an outstanding piecrust bezel. Retains the original beat scale and wall stabilizers. The well made movement appears to be a marriage to the case. It attaches to a brass back plate that was undoubtedly installed by a good cabinetmaker. Pendulum and pulley are probably original to the movement. Brass weight and pendulum ball are not perfect, but are very nice to be 135 years old. This is a good running, very attractive wall regulator. Would be worth twice the minimum if it were not a marriage.
