Description
Unsigned eight day movement is clean and running, strikes half hours and hours on a coil gong. Two piece porcelain dial is excellent, seconds dial, all hands are old. Pulleys look to be new, good porcelain beat scale; brass weights, pendulum and dial rings should be polished. Brass outer ring is beaded around the edge. Walnut case has very nice veneer grain, particularly on the backboard. Large Ionic half columns, tapered tail down to an original finial. Top piece is a new replacement. This is a nice clock for the money.
