Description

Clock styles began changing in the 1920's and the Germans trashed the "old carved Victorian looking Vienna cases" and put the movements in more modern art deco style cases such as this one. The 8 day movement is signed and running. Porcelain dial ring, old hands, brass inner dial that matches the pendulum and weights. Decorative brass pulleys, brass wall stabilizers, brass key lock on the door. Especially nice light oak case is 35 inches tall, clean and polished. Some satinwood inlays on the front and pieces of mother of pearl.
