Description
Case made in English style, held together with wood pegs, front elaborately inlaid with differing shades of wood. Minor veneer loss. Front is beautifully polished to a sheen. 28 inches mahogany and walnut wood case. Carved side wings are both sound and unbroken. Heavy bezel with an original glass over the old zinc painted dial. Dial paint has held remarkably well, no chips. The American 8 day movement by E. Ingraham is original. It strikes a cathedral gong, and is clean and running.
