Description
Very large clock; 53 inches high rosewood case. All components of this clock are old and original. 18 inches dial with seconds bit has some flaking but not bad enough to restore. Original finish with crazing. A small knob that was added at lock was removed and the two small holes were repaired. A few small chips and the normal repairs you would expect for a large heavy clock, but nothing serious enough to detract from the overall appearance. The flock on backboard has been replaced. 8-day time only two weight movement has solid brass plates, lantern pinions with a dead beat escapement. Very impressive clock for the Welch collector.
