Description
The clock is 100% original except for some new paint on the old zinc dial pan. It has the correct Eclipse pendulum bob, a full label inside, and an original glass. As usual, there is a paper sticker on the inside of the door. It says, "No. 1.2543". I believe that is a production date or a serial number, but I have no evidence to back that up. If someone wants to go thru my old catalogs and compile the numbers I pulled off all the balltops, perhaps you can solve the riddle. The movement is 8 day, strike and alarm. Strikes a gong, alarms on a brass bell. This is a good clean, original clock that will more than likely be pictured in the new Ly-Seth Thomas book published mid 2004. At this writing I don't have a copy. Reference n Ly- Seth Thomas, page 479.
