Description
An old label inside, on the porcelain, says "Made in Germany". Fired into the porcelain is, "Royal Bonn", and some other names and numbers. French 8 day movement signed, "Marti". Strikes a standing gong on half hours. Bronze back cover is two piece with cutouts in the door covered with cloth. Front bronze bezel is also two piece, beveled glass. The dial is outstanding in color and design, blue numerals and designs that match the case. There are minute hairlines and a tiny chip around one arbor. Insignificant in the total scheme of things. The movement and pendulum both are stamped, "2971". The case is 14 inches high, 8 inches wide. Good clean clock from the Miller collection. Yes, they do have a few things not Ansonia.
