Description

The dogs are signed "Made in France", and the name of the sculptor that I cannot make out. The dogs are on top of a tiered marble base of several brown and white tones. Underneath are 4 metal feet. The clock is 17.5 inches wide, 21.5 inches high. The French movement is signed, "C J" above an anchor. It is an 8 day round movement that strikes a bell and running and striking properly. The porcelain dial is one piece and perfect as are the hands, French sash, and heavy beveled glass. The rear bezel with glass dust cover is also nice. Not an insignificant clock, it weighs in at 60 pounds. As yet it hasn't been dropped or bumped as there are no breaks or chips. Please get it out of here before Papaw tries to move it.
