Description

A model we seldom see, an onyx top and base, a real bronze case that originally would have had a bright clean gold finish. The metal on the top looks clean and bright but below the top piece of onyx it is dull and slightly corroded. You can see the gold is there but needs a good cleaning to bring the gold back where it should be. It stands 17 inches high and is 11 inches wide. The jeweled pendulum certainly adds to the clocks beauty and desirability. Four plate glass beveled glasses, only the back glass has one corner chip. Two piece porcelain dial is perfect, with open escape, and correct hands. 8 day movement, strikes half hours on a standing gong, and is running strong. Ly-Ansonia No. 295.
