Description
Highly carved 24 inches tall case in the hunter's motif. Lots of leaves, trees, grapes but also has the traditional animals normally seen on a hanging cuckoo. On the crest is oversized goat's head with old horns. Clean 6 inches dial, good numbers, old hands. Time and strike brass movement is probably 1-day, looks to have been serviced recently with replaced bellows tops. Overall an extra nice, unusual shelf cuckoo.
