Description
Very unusual iron front Kroeber clock, 24 inches high and 15 inches wide at base. Strong double labels on back, "Notice", and "F. Kroeber, No. 8 Cortlandt Street, New York". Old stenciled glass may not be original to case, old two-piece dial pan, paper dial replacement. The signed Kroeber 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell, old barrel pendulum. Running but could use a servicing. Was not done yesterday, but someone decided to paint this unusual clock yellow. For the Kroeber collector, this is the first iron front Kroeber I've ever owned.
