Description

The 16.5 inches by 10.5 wide case is made of white onyx. Each side has large round onyx pillars capped in brass, on top large brass and onyx finials with fancy brass lady center piece, repair to trumpet held in hand; brass feet on clock base. On top of case is a natural vein in the onyx that some would mistakenly call a hairline. Two piece 4.5 inches porcelain dial with fast-slow indicator has hairline between 6-7 and 10-11. All heavy beveled glasses are in good shape. 8-day movement strikes the hours and half hour on a wire gong. Running. Correct 2-vial imitation mercury pendulum. Ly-Gilbert No. 292.
