I feel sure the gong base is not original to this case. If you can get past those changes the rest is a piece of cake. Awfully pretty beveled and leaded glasses, dial with a new ring, brass center, old hands, all look good. Like all his clocks the brass is polished and spotless, the case is clean and shining. All his clocks are running and striking perfectly. There are many years of problem free service with this inexpensive 2 weight clock. The way wall weight clocks are selling, this is a giveaway.
