Description
The movement is 8 day, solid plate, striking half hours and hours on a coil gong which is attached to the movement plate. The movement is very clean and running properly. All the brass is polished, bob, weights, dial rings, grommets, and even the key. Hands are original, beat scale, 3 good glasses. The old mahogany case is clean as a pin, like the others, has 3 carved pieces, an ornament at the top, and the bases on the two half columns. Black paint was used as accent around the glass and on the columns. The elegant case is a little over 46 inches high.
