Description

8 day brass movement is attached to an iron bracket that slides into a bracket mounted to the back of the case. Strikes a coil gong half hours and hours. Original dial with a pressed metal ornate center, and the plastic type dialring used throughout Europe in the early part of the twentieth century. The long brass pendulum has a large bob with swirls, the lyre type stick with a 6 pointed star in the middle. 5 good glasses and beat scale. The mahogany case has been cleaned and polished till you could eat on it. Typical half columns with turnings all the way up and down, stylish base and top. This huge clock is over 50 inches high and 20 inches wide.
