Description
One in a 6 clock series of cabinet clocks each with brass trimmings, this the only one with the open well-exposed pendulum design. Also the largest of the series at 23 inches high. Made of Antique Oak, now with a medium finish, not a blemish anywhere. Expertly refinished by Bruce Baziluk the brass is clean and shining like a new dollar. Brass dial with black raised numerals. Movement is 8 day, striking hours on a cathedral gong, running like a top. No negatives, they don't get any better. Ly-Ansonia No. 847. That book reports a value at $1750, but none of his experts saw this clock. We will call it perfect.
