Description
The relatively small, 20 inches polished walnut veneer case, contains the same two large movements that are found in the much bigger cases. The upper movement, signed by Seth Thomas, is 8 day, strikes a bell on the hours. The lower calendar movement, also by Seth Thomas, is perpetual, meaning you make no adjustments for length of months or for leap year. The clock is all original including the dials, hands, and pendulum. It ran for us during the brief time we did the catalog work, but I would recommend it be serviced. Ly-Calendar, page 260.
