Description
The New Haven Clock Company was founded by Chauncey Jerome around 1850 and produced some of the finest American clocks. This particular beauty was made around 1870 and is in the miniature style with an "OG" case including an eight-day movement with a strike on the hours and an alarm mechanism. The metal dial and lower door glass have been replaced over the years and are colorful with lots of eye appeal. The original label is retained inside the case.
