Seth Thomas antique mantle clock, 8 day. CIRCA: 1910 SIZE: 11" tall, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" MAKER: Seth Thomas Thomaston CT signed movement and dial CONDITION: 100% original, the movement has been professionally rebuilt, the original finish has been cleaned, polished and waxed and absolutely sparkles. DESCRIPTION: This is one of Seth Thomas most desirable mantle or shelf clock. It is their patented red Adamantine finish. The original finish was done to simulate rosewood, the grain is excellent and has not faded. The base wood is pine. Everything is completely original dial, hands, bezel, glass, movement, pendulum and brass bun feet. All brass parts have been polished and sealed. This clock looks as good as it did over 90 years ago when it was made. This clock strikes the appropriate hour and once on the half hour with a very deep resonating chime. It is week duration.
