The Tablet Is Flaking, But Is Still Good. The Case Is Mahogany And Rosewood Veneered And We Feel Probably Had Ripple Molding On The Bottom Of The Case That Was Replaced A Long Time Ago With Mahogany Veneer. The 30-Hour Springwound Movement Has A Solid Escape Wheel And Strikes The Hours On A Gong. The Movement Is Marked: Forestville Mfg. Co. U.S.A. The Label Says "Improved Brass Clocks Forestville Manufacturing Co. J.C. Brown, Bristol, Conn (1842-1849). The Label Printer Is Elihu Geer, 10 State St., Hartford, Conn, Stationer And Steam Printer (1850-56). Height 15" X Width 9" X Depth 4"
