Description
Condition: there are glue repairs to the carved sections and the gold leafing was recently restored. Pendulum, hands and hardware are old [except for the rating nut, which is easy to replace]. Center glass is original (with long sweeping crack); bottom glass replaced; top round glass missing. Clock was retailed by a jeweler in Cincinnati, with his partial label on the rear. Top eagle finial is original. Original movement attaches to a case back with a single center screw. A decent old clock that would be worth $4,500 if all original. Height 41 inches
