Description
Condition: The oak case was nicely refinished some time ago with attractive patina. Movement is sound and was serviced and is running. The dial has lost most of its silvering, and with some polish residue in the engraved chapter numerals; calendar aperture above 6, and engraved seconds dial below 12. The base has been reinforced with 2 "steps" of oak to bring it to proper height. This clock was bought in England in 1948 by a Dr. Beattie of Canada, and with all papers related to shipping at that time. Height 80 inches
