Description

Condition: This oak case was built onto the end of a wall and there is a 2 inch recess when viewed from behind; there is some damage to the sides where is was pried from the wall. Some bits of the dentil molding under the hood have been re-glued. The movement is dirty, but of very high quality with maintaining power. The engraved and silvered dial has some tarnishing; signed: James Richardson, Newcastle on Tyne. The suspension spring has been replaced and needs to be done better. The weight is cut down from a larger original; you should find a better one. Overall a well made clock with diminutive proportions. Height 86 inches
